புலிகளால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட தமிழன் நீதிகோரி ஐ.நா வில்!! -(வீடியோ)

தமிழ் மக்களுக்காக புலிகள் போராடினார்கள் என்பது வெறும் தப்புக்கணக்கு என ஜெனிவாவில் நடைபெற்றுக்கொண்டிருக்கும் 34 வது மனித உரிமைகள் மாநாட்டில் பங்குகொண்ட புலிகளால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட தமிழன் ஒருவன் கேட்டுக்கொண்டுள்ளான்.

அத்துடன் புலிகளால் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட வன்முறைகளுக்கு எதிராக உடனடி நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபை முன்வரவேண்டும் எனக் கேட்டுக்கொண்ட சம்பவம் வரலாற்றில் முதற்தடவையாக நிறைவேறியுள்ளது.

அங்கு பேசிய அவர் நடடைபெற்று முடிந்த யுத்தத்தில் இருதரப்பும் குற்றங்களை புரிந்துள்ளது என்றும் உரிய விசாரணைகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு குற்றவாளிகள் தண்டிக்கப்படவேண்டும் என்றும் கேட்டுக்கொண்டுள்ளார்.

மனித உரிமைகள் தொடர்பாக பேசப்படுகின்ற இந்த சபையிலே, புலிகளால் வாழ்வுரிமை மறுக்கப்பட்ட ஒர் தந்தையின் மகனான பாலிப்போடி ஜெயதீஸ்வரன் எனும் நான் இலங்கையின் கிழக்கு மாகாணத்தைச் சேர்ந்த தமிழன்.

எனது தந்தை மீதான மனிதாபிமானமற்ற கொலைக்கு நீதி கோரியமையால் நிரந்தர அங்கவீனனாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளேன்.

புலிகளின் பயங்கரவாதச் செயற்பாடுகளால் பலமாக பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள நான் உங்களின் கவனத்திற்கு கொண்டுவருவது யாதெனில், புலிகள் தமிழ் மக்களுக்காக போராடினார்கள் என நம்புவது பாரிய தவறாகும்.புலிகள் ஆயிரக்கணக்கான தமிழ் மக்களை கொன்றுகுவித்து எங்களது அடிப்படை உரிமைகளை மறுத்தார்கள் என்பதே உண்மை.

நடந்து முடிந்த யுத்தத்திலே இரு தரப்பினரும் பாரிய குற்றங்களை இழைத்துள்ளனர். குற்றவாளிகள் இனம்காணப்பட்டு அவர்களுக்கு உரிய தண்டனை வழங்கப்படவேண்டும்.

ஆனால்; இலங்கையில் இடம்பெற்ற மனித உரிமை மீறல்கள் தொடர்பாக ஐ.நா வினால கொண்டுவரப்பட்டிருக்கின்ற தீர்மானத்திலே புலிகளால் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட மனித உரிமை மீறல்கள் தொடர்பில் உரிய கவனம் செலுத்தப்படவில்லை.

இச்செயற்பாடனது எனது சமுதாயத்தை மீண்டுமோர் இரு ண்ட யுகத்திற்கு கொண்டு செல்லுமென அஞ்சுகின்றேன்.

புயங்கரவாதிகள் பயங்கரவாதிகளே. உலகம் முழுவதும் பரந்திருக்கின்ற அப்பாவி மக்களை கொன்று குவிக்கும் பயங்கரவாதிகளுக்கும் புலிப்பயங்கரவாதிகளுக்குமிடையே எந்த வித்தியாசமும் கிடையாது.

எனவே நான் ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் மனித உரிமைகள் சபையிடம் வினயமாக கேட்டுக்கொள்வது யாதெனில், புலிகள் மேற்கொண்ட மனித உரிமை மீறல்களுக்காக அவர்களை சட்டத்தின் முன்நிறுத்த வேண்டிய நடவடிக்கைகளை உடனடியாக மேற்கொள்ளுங்கள்.

 Mr. Vice-President In this gathering where the human right issues are discussed I am, Palippody jeyatheeswaran, a Tamil from east part of Sri Lanka, being the son of a father whose rights to live was denied by LTTE and my call for justice to this inhuman act, has resulted in my becoming a perpetual handicapped person. I wish to bring to your notice that I being one of the thousands of victims who suffered tremendously as a result of LTTE terrorist acts must emphasize that it is absolutely incorrect to believe that the Tigers fought for the Tamil community. They even killed a large number of Tamils who were against their ideology. In fact they denied our fundamental rights. In the concluded war both parties committed crimes. The misconducts should be investigated. The exact offender should be identified and legal actions taken accordingly. But the UN`s proposed actions against violators of human rights and relevant resolutions have failed to take the human right violations committed by the LTTE seriously into account. I fear that it might bring another dark era to my community. Terrorist are terrorists, there is no difference between LTTE terrorists and the terrorists across the world who kill innocent people. Therefore I earnestly request UNHRC to take immediate steps to bring LTTE to the book against their human right violations. Thank you.
